The only thing I changed was download the new capture one with the AI features. It’s strange because I shoot with this photographer a lot and I had shot with her the week before exactly the same everything and no problems. Haven’t notice that being an issue, but will test it out and let you know if that an improvement. I always have grain set in capture one in almost all my grades. Didn’t know about the Grain being an issue.Makes focus checking in real time impossible. But that puts me like 10/15 frames behind the actually shooting. I had to revert to manually take the client through the image so they can see them loaded when shooting. Have tried both, normally it’s on immediate.I’m not talking about second or two I’m talking like 5-10 second difference. It’s fine for 10 frames and then slow again. Done that and did a full restart of the computer.I’m always running a viewer to a second screen, iPad or Eizo.Use to that, but still slow even for that camera.I have found that no amount of changing of preview size remedies this and it is just an annoyance to deal with in Capture One for now until it is better optimized. Do you have grain set on anything beyond the default? If so, this is generally a culprit of slow-loading previews on high-megapixel files. Check to see if your Camera is set to move to the next capture "Immediately" or "When Ready".The orientation preview speed is a phenomenon that happens regardless of file size or camera make.I do literally nothing else and then it is fine the rest of the day. Closing and re-opening Capture One when things get slow somehow fixes the preview speeds problem for me.To check if it's open, just go to WINDOW and see if VIEWER is listed in the very bottom of the drop-down menu. Sometimes you can't avoid it as some configurations call for it, but having the Viewer window open accidentally in the background when you're on a SINGLE monitor slows things down.Something about how Capture One reads the Fuji file I believe. This includes when shooting on a non-100MP Fuji. Fuji files tend to take JUST a little bit longer to preview than just about any other raw file from Canon, Nikon, or Sony.Do not have Google Chrome browser open, even for a single tab. However, here are some solutions/observations that have minimized the problem. I've run into this problem and have never really figured out exactly what is causing it. Images come in fast, no bottle next in the tether cable, did swap them out to see anyway. The absolute strangest thing happened when shooting with a Fuji GFX 100s, landscape orientation images load fine and fast, soon as camera orientation changes to portrait. 22 always felt to me like to most stable. But my clients don’t want to use 22 anymore they want 23. ![]() Nothing changed.Ĭapture 22 15.3.3.8 no problem. Tried the new setting for preview rendering, tried the legacy way. My preview size in capture is normally a little high, but I’ve never had problems.ĭropped preview size down to 900, didn’t affect the slow load speeds. Ram usage was not running high even when jpgs were not loading. ![]() ![]() (Know it’s still early stage for this one) but then ditched it and went back to capture one 23 16.2.5 and the same thing. I experience this with capture one pro 16.3.1.23. ![]() Starts out fine and then chugs to the point where it almost unusable. Wanted to know if anyone is experiencing slow previews loading.
